This is Xirugan– my entry to Matt’s Create a Kaiju contest: [link]

Origin:
Xirugan is a cyborg created by the same alien race that created Gigan. Its exterior is completely organic with the cybernetic components completely hidden inside the beast. The cybernetic part of Xirugan is a metallic sphere that allows the kaiju to be controlled but also contains highly advanced computing and analysis technology and the beast’s AI. Xirugan is a daikaiju assassin, designed especially to track down and destroy other kaiju. It accomplishes this by stealing its opponents DNA to determine weakness and use their strengths from the stolen DNA. It will then use its extreme speed and fire power to exploit the opponent’s weaknesses and destroy it (along with strengthen itself from the opponents DNA). Xirugan has a powerful array of range attacks, but it prefers to fight tooth & claw. It uses its superior speed and agility to literally tear its enemies apart. Xirugan appeared on earth in 2064 and defeated Rodan. However, after a long battle with Gojira Phase 2 (Super-Gojira), Xirugan was destroyed.

Attacks:
Teeth, claws, barbed t tails, retractable barbed tentacles, energy and anti-matter particle beams, DNA extraction tongue

Defenses:
Extreme Regeneration, tough hide, plasma-field “armor” plates designed to deflect energy attacks, agility and speed

Weaknesses:
Heavy body armor is limited (for mobility) – areas without armor are more easily damaged, inability to sense dark energy & matter, destruction of the control sphere will kill it, over confident

Special Abilities:
Flight @ Mach 103, ability to consume opponents DNA and analyze it, can use another kaiju’s DNA to strengthen itself, extremely fast, can transform its body into new weaponry, can “see” the infra red, ultraviolet and gama spectrums
