"Legion of the 21st Century"

Time has changed in the 31st century.

With a shift in the universes, and a shift in time, the historical documents have changed, now making the definite origins of the Legion of Super-Heroes unknown, and without their origins, there can be no Legion.

It becomes clear that an event occurs in the early 21st Century which will pave way for the Legion to form, but without the notes, it is unclear exactly what will happen. Four Legionaires immediatly answer the call. One of them, Triad, goes to the New Gods, as Darkseid's involvement stands as the best chance for discovering the truth.

The other three, however, have another plan.

Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl, and Lightning Lad are headed for the 21st Century, touching down in Smallville, Kansas, and taking the origin of the Legion of Super-Heroes into their own ringed hands. The three begin a mission to meet various heroes, as well as the century old origins of their teammates, aligning the pieces that will one day lead to the Legion being established.

If they can't find out what makes a Legion a Legion, then they will just have to form one themselves.
