Sometimes the abdominals are 8, or 7, they donΒ΄t have to be 6

This tutorial covers anatomical commonalities. I stated there are technically 8 abdominals because the last two are very low and are thus usually not visible unless they are focused on during weight training. 7 would be an anatomical abnormality, to put it kindly, if not a deformity.

Awesome resource, definitely deserved a DD! I'm planning to do a similar tutorial about the muscles (though it will be a tad different) so this is a great resource for me.

man, it's one of the best anatomy tutorials I've ever read! very helpful but yet wonderfully simple. And yes, I totally agree with you , bad anatomy totally kills sexiness - but, hopefully people will learn smth from that tutorial and there will be many truly sexy pictures for us to see in the future XD

PS: Could you please do similar tutorial for females?

Thank god for this, you know what I hate about this site? I'll see a tutoriasl teaching you importance of colour and how to use it, then I'll go to their channel, and they've not even practiced what they've preached.

Half of the people on here are trying to teach people something they aren't proficient in themselves.

I admit I've done the "building block" abs once, though it was for a semi body-builder like body But yeah, I hopefully won't make that mistake again

But even I know there's only six visible abs, even when I knew shit-all about anatomy (even now I'm far from pro at it) since that's just simple observation there. People who draw 12 just have very creepy, almost bug-like abdomens At the risk of generalizing, I see this done way more in overly-ripped furries than human characters

I... I love you... I really wanna get my hands on that book! This is great. I've been focusing on the male torso recently, and this is just superb. Not too overly detailed, but not too vague, either. Bravo!

This is a fantastic tutorial! I just recently created a little study / tutorial showing some of the variety there can be in abs, to try to help people to draw abs that don't always look identical! LOL

Also: Please join #TutorialsForYou and submit this! I tried doing it myself, but I don't think it worked. I'm a new administrator there, and will definitely accept this (and any other tutorials you have!!) if you join. Please do!

Thanks,
