Description
This is the first in a series of renders for my friends. Each render will represent one of my friend's DnD characters. I was hoping to have all these done before christmas... but that may not happen.This one is Melikos, a paladin warrior. I thought it would be fun to render him they way evil creatures probably see him. Other than resizing the image from the original 1440x1920, there is no post work in this image. It set a new local record for render time: 6.75 days! I'm pretty happy with the way this turned out.
Before anyone asks... yes! The sowrd he carries is that big.

i like it teh sword!!! that's more of a halberd.. this guy has to be a brut of strength.. my DnD charcter is a wimp.. but he doesnt need muscles...

not bad dude. i think the armor is quite plain. you could of put some detail on the actual plating, and what is with the hideous grain on the armor. is it the lighting of a precedual texture gone wrong. the sword is wicked and over all not bad

that's exactly how i'd envision an evil doer looking at a paladin.... run away eveil creature! the only thing i'd change is the hair.... it looks like he has spots coming out of his head, like giant brown/black dandruff. o_0 it'd be cool if his sword glowed too!

I can't explain the spots other than they appear to be a part of the texture for the hair set. I was to lazy to try and correct it.

The font is old english so it is a bit hard to read. They say "Cast in the Name of God, Ye Not Guilty!" It was part of the sword model.

Base Models? I'm not sure what you mean. The main figure is Micheal 2. Micheal 2 and Victoria 2 come with morph targets. (I don't have the morph packs for Micheal 3

That sword rocks. I think I got it off of Renderosity for free in the 3DS section. It didn't have any materials defined though.
