Description Panel 1 - Ahh! I worked so hard on this edit and it just crashes MMD! I'm giving up on this edit...
"Don't give up yet I will show you how to fix this"

Panel 2 - First lets check the bones, well the bones look good lets check on the other things.

Panel 3 - Well that's a problem.

Panel 4 - When you are done getting all the physics selected press "Edit" -> "Selected(O)" -> "Del Bone/Physic/Joint Del"

Side note - Un-needed physics may not crash MMD but it does mess up the model while dancing. Like making the skirt spazz even more then it started with.

Panel 5 - God this will take years to clean!
"No not really"

Panel 6 - Go to the joint tab.
You see alot of the un-needed joints have the same ending. ( Like a repeat like Joint A --> AAAAA --> AAAAA in most cases they will be attached to the same thing or even left blank)
Well those are the ones you need to remove.
A easy way to do it is by clicking the last joint on the list and going to your "Delete" key on your keyboard then just click "OK".

Side note - Make sure to keep an eye on what your deleting because you may remove some important joints. Oh yeah another thing if you have alot of un-connected joints it may make PMDE not work right.

Panel 7 8 - Now she's clean and the model doesn't crash MMD~!

Side note - If you can't find all the un-needed joints and physics, you are better off just restarting the model and making sure each part it cleaned before you add it to the base your using.

This is not the case for all crashes of MMD. Sometimes it's bones which I can't really help you on that.
If none of this works/helps start the model over. That's all I can say/do to help anyone if they are still having problems with the model, sorry.

I did say that.
Unless you mean manually left clicking each joint on the tab and hitting delete, that takes to much time and after awhile it starts hurting the hand.
But I just find it easy just holding down the delete button on my keyboard while having the last joint selected. (Like I stated in the tutorial)

in pmd you have to but in PMX you can select more things in the tab and delete multiple things at once

Ah, well I don't use PMXE alot only for stages or parts that are over 64k polygons.
So i'm not the best at using PMXE even if I have the English translated version, I just like using PMDE for my own reasons.
