felt like it wasn't fair to just leave you with that intro to plot, so here we are, you also got some tools for plot improvement here
now too.

don't feel like things have to be perfect, problems and issues come up with lots of plots with close scrutiny, even officially published ones. I could list off some specific ones, but it'd require you to also have read the series I'm addressing and recall the points in story I'm addressing, so I think i'll leave that be for now.

I'll cover nuzlocke deaths next time

- World Constancy... No check, I can't quite do that till I start the comic

- Foreshadowing, Throwbacks and Red Herrings, I already have a few of those planned, Check

- Actions over words, Check-ish... Does slapping count as that? Within the first page I already have slapping planned.

- Consequences, Check, I have a lot planned

keep it in mind though, sometimes you can mess it up if you start by writing a detail into a corner or something. watch out for limits you set.

good to know, you'll end up making more along the way too.

depends, it's situational.

super, don't make them short term either preferably

I don't need to tell you again how awesome you are for doing this, so have an anecdote on the topic of Actions over Words.

A few years ago in a soap opera that was meant to be everything but humorous:
Character: 'I'm so angry!'
> stiffly walks towards chair
> flips chair with a completely straight face

They could really have used some tips on the importance of body language. And facial expressions. Those are pretty important, too.

dawww, I'm glad you find these that cool.

pfffftttttttttttttttt, the irony of how undramatic that is makes me think that was actually a comedy in disguise.

oh yes, anyone making a story should note of this, I've seen some embarassingly bad drama get officially published in comics.

It was completely serious. That's just the quality of German TV.

Me too. I've seen it all. D:
I just realized I'm pleasantly surprised by the rarity of pregnancy in these comics. ... Oh shit, set this reply on fire before it jinxes us all.

Pfft, me and my stupid English. xD I don't understand certain words (Very few of them, but still), luckily you explained everything nicely, so I didn't have to take google translator and see what a word means in Finnish (my first language).
I can't wait 'till the next part, I have a death coming up in my nuzlocke but I don't know how I should show it. (btw, I don't have the nuzlocke on this account, if you want to see what I have done so far, i can note you my nuzlocke account)

I don't see anything wrong with looking something up if you don't know what it means, there's nothing to be ashamed about that. and won't be doing the death one for a bit.

I just want to say thanks so much for making an effort to do these, Penguin
I won't be doing a comic of my nuzlocke (going twrite a story of it), but all of this is very helpful for writing, for sure, and I know it's going to help me a lot.

Great Tips! These are great reminders to do things in your comics. I never thought of the throw back twist before.

I really enjoy the tension that will result from morale issues. Pokemon are used in the war. They are used as weapons not as people. N has a valid point in saying pokemon shouldn't be used in the war. But the main character also has a point in the fact that Both Pokemon and Humans are affected by the outcome of the war, so just like humans pokemon should have no choice but to fight.

Sorry was gushing.

thanks, these serves as good reminders for me too. yeah, I learned of that from a manga about making manga, bakuman. they called it something different though.

oh yeah, moral grays make good tensions, and no problem, it's interesting to directly bring up both sides side by side
