"Oh, I shouldn't have left her alone," James said, more to himself.

"What's wrong?" Christian asked.

"I can't find Jena," James said. "She went to the ladies room half an hour ago, and I haven't seen her since. We have to find her. Amber made it pretty clear that she wanted Jena when she broke into Frank's Chile Diner last night."

"Of course we'll find her," Scarlet said.

"I just hope she's okay," James said. "She wouldn't be in this mess if it weren't for us."
Suddenly, lights started flashing and a siren wailed. Scarlet covered her ears as the sound overwhelmed her.

"What the hell is that?" Scarlet demanded.

"The fire alarm," James replied. "Which means the building is on fire."

"What?" Scarlet exclaimed. "But I don't smell any smoke."
