Description
Windows 8 startscreen for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8
How to use:
First of all download Avedesk 1.3 hereavedesk.aqua-soft.org/download…
Install it and run the proggy one times to get rid of the intro.
Than copy and paste the Avedesk exe to the main folder of this deviation.
Click on the exe and it should run.
If not the controlpanel of Avedesk will appear and you have to load the theme manually.
Why do i call it SDK (Self Development Kit)?
Because you can use it as it is, or modify it to your likings. Build your own personal startscreen if you want.

To test this i've installed it today on an old AMD Duron 1GHz with 320mb RAM, and it works. Avedesk never uses more than 15mb RAM.

moreover I'm using xp..and as you said in your tutorial that theme would upload it but it doesn't..so i add it manually from small tiles but it says" avescripter.dll " not found where to find this .dll file ??

After reading this i've downloaded the file myself and tried to reproduce this fault. For me it worked. Maybe something was going wrong while unzipping. Delete the folder and unzip the file again.There is nothing missing.Btw the file avescripter.dll is in the avescripter folder. In the mainfolder is a folder "Desklets" and you will find the folder avescripter in it.

None of the theme is uploaded to avedesk except....windows 8 startscreen dark.....which also gives only...???? on the whole screen and only note's tile on the screen ......

When you see a screen full of ??? you have accidently loaded something named "Current theme" Avedesk uses this to store the position of all desklets. Each ? is a desklet.

If you mean the file from my skydrive, i've downloaded it myself and i've scanned it with Avira Antivir and with Microsoft Security Essentials. Both found nothing.The file is the original folder of my computer i use every day.

Great work Peter!!!!! I'm so impressed from the development and improvement that you brought to older Windows. Including all the work and effort in your themes and tutorials that people always appreciate. Finally i found some time and i featured this work on my websites. Anytime Peter! It's just something small. I couldn't find the time just to make a simple post but i had to, so it was about time.
DA is consuming time, everything is consuming time if you are taking it seriously. But all these are in the plan and worth it. It all started with an idea and a vision and it seems it becomes even more interesting.
The positive is that i like it and i enjoy it. It's natural so my works are like my hobbies.
Everyone can achieve great things, as individuals, or even better as teams. Everyone is special, some people just don't know it yet and need perhaps a little push. As soon they'll discover their talent and what they want from their life, they wont be the same again!
Priorities help. Even if you want from life a successful career or a happy and healthy family with kids or even both. Keeping a balance and supporting the real needs and meanings on our life (based on those priorities) makes us responsible people in society and not just bored of our life.

Erm... Does this change the background of startscreen or is a virtualized startscreen er...? Basically what I'm trying to understand is, if I have windows 8, what new features does this offer me?

Meanwhile there is a lot of startscreen clones available, and so i decided to release it as SDK, so that everyone can build his own startscreen.
