I'm sorry, but Elements doesn't have pen tool support. D: You'll need get a copy of PS7 or higher. D:

wonderful and very helpful tutorial but, i have a problem, see when i stroke my path, it just creates dots somewhere on the path like a "join the dots" game! what do i do?

it works with pencil but not with brush....and my line looks stupid with pencil!

There are a couple different situations that would create this problem. First, are you using the default brush? Go to Brushes > Reset Brushes, and pick the first option. If this doesn't help, it means that your spacing has been altered. Go to the Brush Palette (F5) and click "Brush Tip Shape." Under Spacing, bring the slider all the way down to 1%, and this should solve your problem. :3

Yes. The only difference is that I have the minimum diameter set to 0%. The default might be set to 100%, which would make the brush look different from mine. :3

It's just the default Photoshop brush. :3 To make it tapered, you need to set up pressure sensitivity and alter the minimum diameter as explained in the tutorial.
