wonderful and very helpful tutorial but, i have a problem, see when i stroke my path, it just creates dots somewhere on the path like a "join the dots" game! what do i do?

FashionPixie In reply to FashionPixie [2011-07-30 17:38:06 +0000 UTC]

it works with pencil but not with brush....and my line looks stupid with pencil!
PS, luv how u drew the girl there

Popo-Licious In reply to FashionPixie [2011-07-30 17:31:51 +0000 UTC]

There are a couple different situations that would create this problem. First, are you using the default brush? Go to Brushes > Reset Brushes, and pick the first option. If this doesn't help, it means that your spacing has been altered. Go to the Brush Palette (F5) and click "Brush Tip Shape." Under Spacing, bring the slider all the way down to 1%, and this should solve your problem. :3

waaaitt... is the brush your using the default brush?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Popo-Licious In reply to epicu [2011-07-15 15:02:05 +0000 UTC]

Yes. The only difference is that I have the minimum diameter set to 0%. The default might be set to 100%, which would make the brush look different from mine. :3

can i get that brush

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Popo-Licious In reply to prince6130 [2011-07-07 20:39:29 +0000 UTC]

It's just the default Photoshop brush. :3 To make it tapered, you need to set up pressure sensitivity and alter the minimum diameter as explained in the tutorial.
