finally!! Here's my SFX tutorial
Sorry for the long wait guys, I hope that when you flip through it you can see why it took me so long to get this out! (oh dear please ignore my crummy animation in the beginning T_T;;

This is awesome. I'm currently using Paint Shop Pro, but all the nifty resources available on dA for Photoshop are really making me want to go out and buy Photoshop! Faved, on the off chance I do (and because some of the tutorial still works on principle).

This tutorial has been VERY helpful!~ I've picked up a lot of tricks on water and metal, and how to create glowing beams of light. I'm definitely going to give all three a try. That water looked the most fun though. I can't wait to use it in a drawing. XD Thanks a lot for compiling this together and posting it!
