finally!! Here's my SFX tutorial
Sorry for the long wait guys, I hope that when you flip through it you can see why it took me so long to get this out! (oh dear please ignore my crummy animation in the beginning T_T;;

I enjoy this a whole lot I just got enlightened a lot. I don't have the same program so it isn't exact walk through but I am very familiar with my program and I know because of this tutorial I will be able to do some of this awesome effects in my art now. Thanks for taking the time to do this for the DA community. I sure all that take the time to study what you have explained will receive such a boast in their skill and it would be thanks to you. Oh man, this is so thorough and helpful~! I use GIMP, and like you said, there's a lot of tools not available on it, but these tips and ways of thinking through things is certainly very helpful!
