finally!! Here's my SFX tutorial
Sorry for the long wait guys, I hope that when you flip through it you can see why it took me so long to get this out! (oh dear please ignore my crummy animation in the beginning T_T;;
Hopefully it's helpful
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask more than once! Sometimes when I just read through stuff and I'm tired, I forget to respond!

No prob~ I'm good, btw, but in the course of my move down to the States, my computer and other belongings are in a warehouse at the border! It saddens me, but I will persevere until they can be sent to me.
Your tutorial helped me in a few ways with several pieces I did, mostly in the colour balance (ie cool and/or warm tones), and glows, which I used in a few pieces. I think I've improved greatly in the colouring department!

This is so helpful! It truly deserves a DD!
And, to answer your question about PSE having masks, Elements 9 does have them because I use clipping masks frequently. ^^ Although I don't know about previous Elements version.
