Terms for using my tutorials
When using my tutorials or techniques explained in my tutorials all I need is that you say or write "Inspired by Talty" somewhere on the description, that's all I'm asking for. A link back to my gallery or tutorial is appreciated, but not necessary. You can make anything in my tutorials for personal or commercial purposes (yes, that means you can sell what you make) but you can't claim these techniques as your own. No redistribution, reposting or repacking of my tutorials, images, text or any part of them is allowed. They can't be translated to other languages without my permission (ask me about it). FREE TUTORIAL, NEVER TRY TO SELL IT.

Sorry for the extremely large file! I swear, it seems like my tutorials keep getting bigger and bigger...

~thinkpastel had a wonderful idea and used circle templates (the kind used for drafting) instead of the washer! [link] She says that she can work any scale up to 1:4, so you can try that too!

I finally finished this tutorial! It feels like it took me forever

I hope this is understandable I added many photos and less text, it seemed like a good idea but now I'm not sure... maybe I didn't explain enough

I think it's implicit, but anyway: the measures I gave are only for reference! Don't feel restrained by my instructions - use a washer of any size you want! Also, I don't have cutters (yet) but use any cutter you want and make plates with beautiful shapes!

Please show me what you can do using this tutorial! I would really really love to see your plates with or without food Go crazy!

What are those "washer" thingies?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Talty In reply to TheOneMarina [2009-09-12 16:48:41 +0000 UTC]

A washer is a metal bit used to tighten a screw. You can easily find them in any hardware store for a few cents, they're very cheap and common!

You can read the washer wikipedia entry here: [link]

Most likely you do it's a very common material, almost every piece of furniture uses washers! Try it, as in any hardware store Take a picture if needed.
