A couple people have requested this tutorial and I figured, hey, why not help out. Let me know if you don't understand something. I'm sure it's a bit confusing but it's difficult to explain some things especially if people may not know how to use photoshop well. I did my best

I have been wanting to attempt plaid on a few drawings I've done, but never wanted to deal with the frustration of figuring how to make it work... But then I found this. Great job!

it's still kinda hard to do the horizontal lines with all the folds. :/

Oh yeah I know how you feel. That plaid alone took me at least an hour >______<
A trick is to use the pen tool when you're zoomed into the picture. It makes it a bit easier.
