Ah Quidditch - such a challenge, but so much fun to paint. I had some fun with this piece. I'm very happy with how it turned out - utilizing elements from book 1's Quidditch painting but taking it to the next level. I was thankful for the rainy day, which offered some new moody feelings, aiding in the drama. And the over all action of the moment - fit in the angle... this could very well be one of my favorite paintings from the series of Chamber of Secrets illustrations I did.
