Probably, cause I know when down at SWF they would often divert traffic from EWR and JKF up to SWF. Its one heck of a plane cause a C-5 came in from overseas and had to stop over at Richmore (now Supermarine) for Customs, and I remember seeing those 2 side by side and thinking, 'Wow that bird is bigger then the Galaxy.'

turned out to be so popular/heavily booked, they finally went ahead and decided to finish the other one that had been started prior to the collapse of the old Soviet Union! Antonov wants to have it fully operational later this year.

Nothing like a high ROI. I think the other one will pay for itself in short order. Maybe they'll even need to build a third.

ok, that is right. I just found something interesting
"By 2000, it had become apparent that the demand for the An-225 had exceeded the airline's booking capacity, and in September 2006 the decision was made to complete the second An-225. Assembly should be completed by 2008."

Pictures like that, you saw them and you knew the cold war is over.. what a time that has been, especially here in Europe, have seen the fall of the Berlin wall, and suddenly, the world has came to a change, we could travel to countries, of which we before, didn't know anything and, nowadays there is still a wall, in many people's heads, which is much harder to tare down than the Berlin wall...
