Here not so much overnight, things did happen here, in Hungary, East Germany and that, but it did take it's time of course.

soume people around here still have the cold war mentality and even on local news make rather large errors when reporting on former soviet and eastern bloc nation (one example being the persistant use of "Czechoslovakia" in present tense even though the Velvet Revolution overthrew the communist gov. and split into the Czech Republic and Slovakia).......and also the notion of russian/eastern bloc aircraft being "deathtraps" gets really annoying since it is completly false....
