Description I figured this out when I was developing the motion for this video: 

The same basic method, however, applies to other types of dresses, hair or any other bones normally controlled by the MMD physics engine. It will work as long as the underlying physics are sound.

I had trouble with one of my model's jacket "skirt" clipping through his body when he made a drastic Y-rotation on the master bone. Thanks for this tutorial!

With issues like this, and assuming that the jacket skirt is physics controlled, adjust for it by turning off the points were the physics derps and adjust the positions manually.
