Are you absolutely sure the problematic wav files have all the proper specifications? The VMD software doesn't lie.

FrostyChica In reply to Trackdancer [2017-02-19 21:43:58 +0000 UTC]

yes, it was 16 bit pcm and 44 kHz and wouldn't accept it

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Trackdancer In reply to FrostyChica [2017-02-20 01:23:41 +0000 UTC]

Something that I do when this sort of thing happens is to reconvert it into the required format again - ie 16 bit/44 kHz WAV> 16 bit/44 kHz WAV. Use a dependable converter like Audacity to do this.

This procedure should help to clean up the culprit file. It usually solves the problem. Someone who tried this method also wrote that in the end he had someone else clean up the file using another PC as "something" on his PC inhibited a clean conversion, so be aware that you might have to go this route also.

MMDMovieStar [2016-08-03 21:41:47 +0000 UTC]

okay so the whole processing thing with the WAV I used the same 44 kHz and the 16 bit stuff with PCM and it still won't let me load it to VMDSpectrum... what should I do?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Trackdancer In reply to MMDMovieStar [2016-08-04 02:50:48 +0000 UTC]

Read this:
And also some of the comments there might be helpful.

But the short answer is to re-save the problematic wav file as a complaint wav file using Audacity.

arisustrawberry In reply to ??? [2016-07-19 15:01:04 +0000 UTC]

How do I load it as an accessory if it's saved as a VMD file?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Trackdancer In reply to arisustrawberry [2016-07-23 17:30:51 +0000 UTC]

Only the motion data is saved as a VMD file. The model itself (the accessory) must be a valid PMX or PMD model.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

arisustrawberry In reply to Trackdancer [2016-07-26 01:25:16 +0000 UTC]

So then how do I put the motion to it?Β

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Trackdancer In reply to arisustrawberry [2016-07-31 19:57:21 +0000 UTC]

Dance motions are for the performing models like Miku.

VMDSpectrum motion data made from the music is used only to drive models equipped to accept this type of data.

You cannot use the VMDSpectrum data to make motion for Miku, only for models (usually stages) specially built to accept this type of data.

I was only able to make a VMD for band1 and it wouldn't do the rest I'm confused D: I used vocalizer stage

Trackdancer In reply to homogayhorse [2016-06-22 01:30:02 +0000 UTC]

Simply follow the instructions given in the tutorial and if you still can't do it, ask someone to do it for you. It really is not hard.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

homogayhorse In reply to Trackdancer [2016-06-22 01:31:11 +0000 UTC]

I followed the instructions carefully. Only 11 and 12 move (thought it was 1 at first but regardless)

The software works by analysing the different frequencies used to create the audio for a song. If certain frequencies are too weak, in the sense that they are unused, the bands assigned to those frequencies won't trigger any movements.Β The best thing to do at this point is to get a real music analyzer program or a program that can visually graph the frequencies used to see exactly what's going on with the music you are using. Audacity has this feature.

What you reported in your original two posts is unusual to say the least as it is telling me that your audio is more likely a 'sound' rather than a piece of music. So something is not right, and that could be one of many things but the three things that are most likely causes are:

1. The audio clip only uses certain frequencies and not the others.
2. The audio clip is bad.
3. There is something wrong with your computer.

Also, it is not inconceivable that if you are using WIN 10 that the OS might be at the root cause of your problem.

Β Um, I don't know if you can solve this but- when I load a wav file onto VMD Spectrum it comes up with an error message. Its in Japanese (obviously) But it says something like 44.1kHz, 16 bit something something and it only happens with that certain wav.

so even after selecting no on the next two windows to avoid having multiple vmd files saved...if it still wont give the full motion of the song when loading it to the stage
there is basically nothing that can be done?

Trackdancer In reply to Neru-chan95 [2016-05-21 17:20:09 +0000 UTC]

Please re-read the tutorial, it gives you the method to use to process the entire song.

The song used in this video:Β youtu.be/OejCtwz3NnA is over 6 minutes long and was done with a single file.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Trackdancer In reply to CerifUTAU [2016-02-27 18:56:59 +0000 UTC]

In most cases, just leave the band name field alone. Most MMD models that support this program uses the default 'band' label and the program will correctly create the data to match the corresponding frequencies.

Drag+DropΒ Music In File Export Selection Find the folder you want Name your music something to help you find it Click save Click OK Wait for it to save

If it's still in the original format after that, go back to Export Selection and make sure it says 'Save as type: WAV'

Check your save settings for the Wav file; make sure you're not just making a verbatim copy.

ive tried using that formatfactory but the vmd spectrum is not working...its like saying wav and then some japanese jargon following right after it (im not sure what error that is..)

if u were to use audacity...after loading the mp3 song..how do u convert it to that 44kHz (or 44000Hz), PCM, or that 16 bitvalue

and upon download of the vmd program i also downloaded that directx as mentiond on note pad..im not sure what else im doing wrong.....

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Why "mono"? Doesn't the conversion work on your system as "stereo"?
