There's your problem there.

1.Β Go to VPVP to get the MME plugin andΒ d/l it.
2. Installation is simple. Just dump the zip contents in your main MMD folder.
3.Β The MME button is on the top right corner of the MMD UIΒ when you start it up the next time.Β

Well, you'll just need either a better graphics card or PC. There are a lot of effects that won't run on my laptop either.

Incidentally, this is a part of the same site where most people downloaded MMD and the PMD Editor from; which kind of makes me wonder why people have so much trouble finding links; but whatever ...

The PostPointLight effect can be found on BeamMan's blog. It's also packaged with some other effects as it's used as a dependency.

It's in Japanese but that shouldn't be a problem in this day and age ...
