Google "convert mp3 to wav" - find an online converter and try that. If it still doesn't work, I have no idea other than it's something on your PC. This should not be hard to do at all.Β

You don't have to install an online converter, it's done online. Just upload your mp3.

The bars don't move for the first minute of the song, and then they work okay for the rest.
It might be because all of the facials are named Null_ - (No). So the facials that aren't meant to move the bars, are probably taken into account. I'm not sure how fix this >.<
π: 0 β©: 1
Trackdancer In reply to CronasShadow [2015-08-20 18:58:34 +0000 UTC]
The Null_ labeling isn't the problem as MMD ignores the English language labels. This is a curious issue you seem to be having. It's possible that the audio is out of range of the VMDSpectrum program to read though why this should be the case would be really odd. Does this happen with all songs or just a specific one and if so what is the song?

This is my first time trying the VMDSectrum, and I'm using the song "Echo" by Gumi.
I know other people have used the VMDSpectrum with this song, so it might just be my fault, but I did have to set the frequency to 10fps for it to accept it

How do you load the vmd into MMD it wont work DX
π: 0 β©: 1
Trackdancer In reply to KKlightdragon [2015-08-13 20:10:33 +0000 UTC]
Load it on to the model as motion data.
Note: The model needs to be built for use with this type of motion.

I can't find the audio specifications, please help?
π: 0 β©: 1
Trackdancer In reply to clacla2013 [2015-05-11 23:18:03 +0000 UTC]
There are several methods to determine a music files specifications. These include the following:
1. Open the music files properties panel
2. Open the music file in a dedicated audio editing program like Audacity
3. Some music players may provide detailed info on the music file in question

I used iTunes to convert it as Audacity didn't want to do it xD

It must say "band#" on the Japanese side of the UI - doesn't matter what it's labeled on the English side.

I'm having the exact same problem. The wav is the correct type, 16 bit 44 kHZ pcm, but vmd spectrum still won't work for it.Β

Trackdancer In reply to PrincessMikiMiki [2014-05-29 01:02:38 +0000 UTC]
Reformat it againΒ as a 16 bit 44 kHz PCM - this usually fixes the problem.

PrincessMikiMiki In reply to Trackdancer [2014-05-29 12:39:29 +0000 UTC]
i think i figured out the problem but idk why it was a problem: it had to do with the file name. I renamed it to random mashing of letters and it worked.Β
π: 0 β©: 1
Trackdancer In reply to PrincessMikiMiki [2014-05-30 23:11:26 +0000 UTC]
Actually that makes sense. There was probably a prohibited character in the original filename string which threw the program. This can happen when the original filename was in a foreign language as Windows support for foreign character sets is not completely comprehensive.

PrincessMikiMiki In reply to Trackdancer [2014-05-31 01:18:34 +0000 UTC]
I don't understand how it could be an invalid file name in that program but is a valid file in my computer because it is saved in my folder in a valid file name.

Trackdancer In reply to PrincessMikiMiki [2014-05-31 18:05:51 +0000 UTC]
There's a technical reason for it, but too long a discussion. Thing is though that you have at least one way to resolve this problem should it occur again.

Sorry this is google english, is not so good.
I mean, there's VMD SPECTRUM (this little tool) also with English Button's.
This jap Button's you can not use copy and paste for translet in google Translator.
The user does not know where he has to click or what is written on the tab's.
One child from 8 to 15 years can not understand your tutorial so.
The programmer in Japan could this little tool may also write in English for all MMD children in the world.
Then you could have your tutorial with the English VMD tool making. We could understand it!
And then maybe you'd sometimes a users can see video with your very good MMD mod.
I hope now you can understand me, ok?
I'm still trying to use your tool. This Spectrum look's soo cool!
Thank you ... Don

MMD isn't actually written for "children". In reality, most of the people involved in MMD, especially in Japan where this hobby originated are adults. Many have some type of technical or professional background.

I have extracted in a rather complicated way the English texts from your image and saved as a txt file. when I'm ready I will also translate into German.
I wanted you but still ask whether there was a specific DL this?
a stage or something?
π: 0 β©: 1
Trackdancer In reply to DonDeloro [2014-03-02 01:49:29 +0000 UTC]
You have to download the VMD Spectrum software and the stage separately.
π: 0 β©: 1
DonDeloro In reply to Trackdancer [2014-03-02 04:03:55 +0000 UTC]
Yes I have. I get an error message at the stage that I can not read.
When I try with the japanese ocr software translate comes some nonsense out there. I like the stage and I would like to use. I also did not understand what I have to do with the Windows Media Player to start!
It would be nice if you could switch from Japanese to English by clicking these little tools. This is solely in the hands of the program writer, the
know what is at the buttom.
I hope you do not lose patience with me and you write to me again.Β Β Β Don
