You know, I think I'm going to be referencing this tutorial from now on when I do my MMD works.
Two questions:
-This is going to sound stupid, but do you put the skin shader on the eyes as well?
-What about more "realistic" models (like, say, the glut of Kingdom Hearts gamerips)? Do I use the G Shaders on them as well?

G_shader on eyes - try both, go with the one that looks better.
G_shaders should work fine on heavily textured models, probably won't need the skin tone shader though.

this is exactly how i do all my shading except i use the mmm modified ver of g-shader plus adultshader x3

It is except in videos I tend to stick to either one or the other

That makes sense too, easy to overwhelm the system with too many MMEs +physic calc +motion

Exactly, plus if I can get a nice effect with one shader no need to try and overdue it for the system's sake like you said.
