I tried out the tutorial, and there were a few things that need to be clarified. What do you do for the placement of features on the face? I did mine, and the eyes turned out a bit small. I can see where people would get clueless at that spot. What are the basic shapes of all the body parts? Is there something simple that everyone can relate to? I know that I have read in a How to Draw Manga book, that the male torso can be like a bean. Is there something like that, that will support it?
Thanks for the tutorial, It did touch up on a few things, but I still need to seek out my own style...

No, you don't get clueless. ^___^ *is assuming that you already know how to draw normal-sized people* You just have to analyze. Try overlapping the model / structure with the finished work in your mind and see where everything falls.
No, I don't think there's something that's so easy that everyone can relate to it, because everyone has a different style. If you want to adopt the style used in How to Draw Manga, then do so. And you're right, with resources as your guide, it's better to find a style (or develop your own) that you're most comfortable with. Nothing is ever that simple. If you want to achieve something, you have to work for it.

If you could, I know it is a big request, but could you critique my works sometimes? I would be very greatful if you did that for me. You made some very good points about chibi-fying yet keeping daintily attached to anatomy and proportion without swinging anyone off into "WTF?!" land.

That's a nice touch that you included how the hand positions in that small body stature. Some people don't think twice about the proportions when it comes to a dynamic pose for them. For me I just pose them like a regular life size XD!
