Love all your tuts here. <3 Ive been useing photoshop for years and Im still finding new brushes and ways of colouring. XD I just discovered the various types of layers a few months ago, Im now understanding what they do and what they are good for. XD *is proud of self*
I love the methods you illustrate here, I'll be trying them out myself. I had a kind of brain-breakdown not long ago and forgot how to colour. (yes really) It was actually pretty damn scary.. >.< So Im back to learning from scratch all over again.

I read on the other tutorial page that you use 150 DPI when you scan... do you keep it at that size throughout the whole picture? And what size brush do you use for the lineart?

I scan at 300 DPI now, and work at 300 DPI. The brush size would depend -- usually 2-5.

Awesome tutorial, Imust try it out sometime. Though I still suck at drawing and hands and feet and anatomy and all that. I'm wondering how long did it take you to finish that picture colored and all? Not including the tutorial stuff, just the picture itself. Keep up the great work!

I sit through all your four tutorials and I must say this is really helpful. THe one regarding creating background was the best.
Though I dont have Photoshop CS, but i must say this tutorial is still very helpful to me. I dont do layers at all with my digital drawing and I dont adjust tablet pressure. This is are very big mistake I discover after seeing your tutorial.
I really thank you for your effort in doing this tutorial for people like me who are just starting doing digital Art. A big thank you from me!
