Sorry for askint this here but on your previous tut. you changed the lineart colour from black to brown, did it have something to do with the fact that their hair was somehow brown?? does that colour help on the hair or the skin....
for example if the hair of the carachter would be black, does it help more to have the lineart on black? or....

Ah, of course! Brown is like the general color of the picture, since it has autumn colors...

Oh, doesn't matter to me.
Besides, the method is not the only key to good art, it also requires skill and practice to apply them well. About keeping techniques secret, well... I know the basics in Photoshop. When I see a picture, I can already guess what techniques were probably used. (I believe you can, too, right?) But we don't know how to apply them, which is why we can't replicate the picture. (It takes time and practice.

i can't believe that's the 'downhill' part for you =_= it's so good! i've always struggled with doing clothes (even of the simplest design) coz the whole lighting and realistic folds really throws me...i'm so bad at it *cries*
