Dayum, I'm just getting into digital art that isn't pixel art and I'm struggling really hard with shading. I'm going to try this ASAP. Thanks a lot for posting this.

I love how your style is inspired by Sugimori but has your own flavor to it. To be honest, it makes it feel classic but new because of that. At least, to me it does.

Nice works , man!
Really nice to have a tut from you~
I'm very interested in your colouring style
EDIT
Just remembered to ask you something that bothers me alot...
It's not only fakemon but in general - I can never get faces to be symmetrical, one side is always distorted with respect to the other... do you know any work arounds to this? Should i take measurements or something?

When a face bothers me I flip the canvas and try to fix it so it looks fine on both flips. Maybe guidelines to help. Knowing your way around 3D spherical objects also helps.

I've tried this actually, it's harder than it seems. It keeps getting wonky when I flip it again haha - I'll just keep practising. Thanks for answering anyways

Imma try some of these out for the new fakemon I work on especially the colored lines. I used to do it like draw an actual colored line but with this, its a time saver!
