PS: This IS a tutorial! A tutorial doesnt necesarily show you how to do specific thing, but getting you familiarized with a technique or process also qulifies as a tutorial.

Thnaks a ton Alyn. There is QUITE a difference between your method and Greg Martin's (*sirgerg ) Although, you both start with exactly the same process. However, I have tried to follow his method and I have produced less-than-stellar results (no pun intended). You do something in your first step which he does not (or at least did not include) and I think that might help. Thanks a lot for sharing! I cant wait to try this out!
