Oh, so those pointy blades that are placed near the rifles are the attachments?
And what is that long barreled gun at the bottom used for, I wonder.

Those pointy blades are bayonets, they were used in close combat. And the gun below is the PTRD, like described in the post, is a single shot bolt-action antitank rifle.

Thank you, I just adore the shape of the good old Mosin!
Oh yes the Nagant, well I just did it in the WW1 table, so I didn't reply it in the ww2 one, but it's true, they were used in quite great number.

why not, and what about the SKS 45? there are conflicting opinions, I really do not know if it was really used during the war.

I am sorry for asking too much This page is good enough, you can create an extra page about soviet infantry equipement if you like.
As I know, the SKS rifle was not used in WWII.It was not equiped by the Soviet Army until 1949 and phased out by AK47 very soon.

Never mind my friend, you are always welcome, and moreover you confirm my idea about the SKS, and I think that's the same story for the RPD.
It's posssible to do a table about the weapons of the cold war too, great possibility of choiche.

Most SKS and RPD went to Asia and Africa. The Soviet Army favoured the kalashnikov guns, the AK and RPK.
But SKS is a great rifle, which is my second favourite rifle after the archaic Berdan II.I have experience about the SKS,it's light weighted, quite easy to use,and has very mild recoil.

You are right, they fought quite all the decolonialization wars.
Did you shot the SKS?!! Wow!

bogatyrkhan In reply to AndreaSilva60 [2018-09-02 02:01:16 +0000 UTC]
Oh,yes, all those bloody "decolonialization" or "independent"wars would not be completed without them.
I shot the SKS during when I was a student,in summer camps. We also received some basic military training there. Not funny at all except for the rifle shooting part.

Wow, in a summer camp... ...in my time we were used to collect shell on the seashore!

Haha, yes,in that camp we learned how to goose step, toss dummy grenade, drill with SKS,and stand at attention under scorching sun for hours. Maybe the school wanted us to be disciplined. But fortunately, they did not preach to us with communism shit, and left us free in night time.We sneaked out of the camp and went the town nearby, and I watched my first adult movie there.
But of course there are many types of summer camp back them, the most popular ones are those offer hiking, boating, camping and other outdoor activities.

Lol, communist shit, I remember an Albanian collegue of mine in the early 1990' , he had a degree in physics, and he did some crazy exams, such as rational mechanics, historical materialism, mathematical analysis 2, Hoaxism, military training 1 ...
A world is over, it was not a beautiful world, but I don't like the present too much too, it's inconceivable that the president of the most powerful country in the world sends threats to Russians, Iranians and Syrians with tweets.

I agree with you,the world today is nothing better ,or even worse.

I did the Russian Maxim in a table of ww1, here there is the DP28, then I was going to draw the RPD 44 LMG but just a dozen of them were used during ww2, I just miss the SG 43 designed by Goryunov.

Maybe in a ww2 table of heavy machine gun, but HMG can be tricky to draw,
I became mad while drawing the two tables of WW1 heavy machine guns, too much circular lines, cogs, hand wheels, chains...
