In the beginning ...in memory of "yellow day" i tried to tone the background yellow-ish. alas, my PS skills are horrid!

Listen, I fully support getting you back in to the administartion. Also, I don't think it is fair at all that you were given the boot.
However, both you AND spyed have the power to put a stop to this at any time.
Honestly, I am glad that you are showing the new DA members the truth about how DA was created and all, but until one or both of you spil and tell the members what is going on, this is continue on and on. I know that this whole "yellow movement" really makes you feel good. I bet it is extremely heartwarming to see that themembers have got your back...
However, in the midst of all this, I have lost respect for both you AND spyed.
Granted, you're not lying your teeth out, at least, from what I see and hear. However, you are fueling this whole "Yellow Movement" which is doing nothing but hurting DA and upsetting many members.
I once believed you to be a man who really cared about the members and their needs. However, this whole situation has changed my view of you. Many of DA's members, artists, and those who come here to seek inspiration are being ignored and the art that they post or would like to view is constantly being overlooked thanks to the massive amount of Yellow Alien images being posted every single hour.
It is really sad when a member has to get involved in childish political "movements" just to be recognized over the past few days.
Seriously man, please stop and take a look at some of these "Support jark" images and give me one good reason as to why they are being faved and commented on 5000% more than all of really wonderful, well executed artworks which do not have a little yellow alien somewhere in it. Also, while looking at some of the non "support jark" artworks, tell me why some of the members who comment keep asking artists to use more yellow.
NONE of this was going on before this incident between you and spyed. None of this should be going on now.
I know that some people are going to flame me for this, but honestly, I don't care. I've dealt with so much immaturity in my life that it doesn't even bother me anymore.
I'm just saddened to see that both you and spyed let this continue.
I'm BEGGING you, please at least ASK your "followers" to put an end to this yellow movement. I'm sure noone really minds the yellow avatars everywhere, I know I don't, but when all the REAL art is being overlooked because of the consistant flow of "support jark" images being submitted, it is the members who suffer. As a man who cares about the DA members, PLEASE at least try to say something to put an end to this.
As far as the issues between you and spyed, I wont make anymore comments about it until the truth is revealed. However, I know that you are a man of good heart and I wish the best to both you and spyed, and I really hope that you two can come to some kind of peaceful agrrement soon.
I really do respect al you have down for DA, up until the yesterday that is. However, fueling this fire is doing nothing but hurting thosemembers who want nothing more but to post, view, and discuss art. I know you can understand where I am comming from. I also know that you know I am not trying to start anything with either you or spyed. I'd just like to see the communities focus go back to the art and the artists.

I can understand your anger.
Still I think you shouldn't be upset like this.
I share the opinion 'bout the yellow movement someway, but still it was not Jarks decision.
It was the free will of all those mebers who want to support him and this is not a bad thing to do.
Still it is a ltlle bit sad to see that whenever jark or spyed got into an conversation like this they don't answer.
I still think that putting jark out of the staff was a horrible thing to do and it should be annulled.
However i recognized many users who submitted an art with jark (i will be one o' 'em too).
This project spyed is starting isn't in my interest. I don't know what to do about it, still i am against all this propaganda against spyed, because all this anger cannot be the solution.
Don't be mad at me if i am rude, but i can't understand why jark is submitting all this Pictures about him and losing the control over deviantart....All those Users submitting this art, aren't enough..?
I can understand the anger and the sorrow inside of jark, but try to fight and not to cry.
This movement isn't a bad thing aslong as jark isn't controlling it and all those users have their own will.

However, even though jark did not start this, he is fueling it and promoting it by posting images, commenting on every jark image he finds, thanking the members for THAT kind of support and submitting his previous journal. None of it is helping the situation.
I'd just like to see da focus n the art and the artists again. That is all.

Jark has lost his position, he's a former staff member.
And i know deviantArt is already a corporation, but it's a corporation with a good community, it wasn't created to make money it was created as a community. if it was created to make money wouldn't there have been prints, advertising, subscriptions, and all the other things used to make money from the start?
And yeh, i'm sure that if deviantart was destroyed there might be something like it some time in the future, but whats the point? deviantart has existed for 5 years, and ok, it's a bit too corporate, but it works. a new site would take ages to work as well as deviantart. and if a new site like deviantart was created while deviantart was still running then it wouldn't work, not many deviantart members would go to the new site, i would, but a lot of people would stay on deviantart.

No, jark wouldn't want deviantart, that he has worked on for 5 years, to be destroyed. and i think you are one of the only members who wants it destroyed too.
So what happenes when deviantart is destroyed eh? a lot of the people would just get píssed off at whoever destroyed it, and probably wouldn't go looking for another site.
If you want another art site, and you think deviantart will be destroyed anyway, then go out and make a new one!, but a lot of people would stay here on deviantart... maybe if a new site was started by jark and/or matteo, or a former staff member, or someone with millions of pageviews, then maybe people would go to it...

You think the bible isn't suitible for kids? no, it probably isn't, but that's just obvious, thats why they make "children's bibles", d'uh! and there are lots of other bibles that have been edited to be more readable, or suitable for kids.
and another thing, go into a book shop, there are hundreds of books with swearing, violence, etc. in, and when was the last time you saw a parental advisory sticker on one of them? have you ever seen a book (not a magazine, a book) with a parental advisory sticker.
i've read the bible (not the whole thing, but certain parts), and i've read the quotes on your page.

Listen, i'm not going to argue with you about this, there are other things i need to do. I should have obviously realized that what I said would be taken the wrong way- as if I wanted dA destroyed, which I don't. If i did, I wouldn't be here. I don't know the heirarchy of the dA company, but apparently from what i can tell, Jark made some mistakes, perhaps he should have had a better hold on his ceations - by allowing others that didn't orginate the company to decide his fate.
My point about destroying dA - is that if he is out of the company, then he's out. We're all fucked, and Jark oughta take extreme legal action to A) Keep himself in the Company B) Force the "oppostion" out of dA or C) Destroy dA so that the corporation doesn't have it anymore, and then create another artist community.
OBVIOUSLY item C, is something I don't want to see, nor does anyone else.
Jark and the many other people on his side have sacrificed alot, I know that. But, perhaps we all should sacrifice a little of ourselves, so that better things can come from this mess.
If this all goes down, then once we've been informed IF Jark is out for good, then I will be closing my account. As should those loyal to Jark.

I know Jark that you dont know me very well, you helped me a long while back with retaning accounts and a buddy as well. Ive been here since 2001 (im not labeled as a senior but i can recall many a good birthing story from those days) and have seen this community shift from the days of 01 to now. The changes have been amazing and i can recall you as being a major force, when went for help, i didnt get someone acting on some bosses behalf, i got you, and you helped me. I got the sites creator there to help me deal with my issues surronding the site. I think thats just amazing in this busy age and will do everything within my digital power to help bring some honestly finally spilled on this mess. We all support you, and even if you get your job back, i dont think it would be the same, but we are still fighting for you anyway. What i want to see? Ninja boy removed. Thats all i want. Maybe for xmas? DAs birthday is soon, anyone else think that would be a good present to the DA community for its birthday?

Even though I don't know a whole lot about you hon, you seem nice enough, and firing a founder of the site that's allowed me to meet so many great people and to help me get into things I wouldn't have otherwise drawn or done, just doesn't set too well with me. I'll with ya all the way hon.

Somehow I'm missing part of the story I guess. Is it realy the point if there were two or three founders of DevArt? If that's the point, there must be more people, like me, who just know there were only two, Matteo and Jark, because they were there? Or has every member from the beginning left exept me? I can't imagine it's that hard to round up all the members from the early days and let them make a collective statement. I'm available for sure!!

Kicking out a founder is just... blah. It seems so wrong. And right now, with no clear explanations, the situation smacks of capitalism over community. I despise that for many reasons and think it's unfair in it's basic premise.
This site give me a chance to unwind, to draw and maybe get a nice comment or two, to see my stuff on the web and enjoy the artwork of others. It's a release and I'm glad you were there, 'in the beginning' to make it for all of us.
