Description
Edit: Part II (digital inking) now available!: [link]Also, eyes tutorial: [link]
Starring Cloud from Advent Children!
Yes, I know that sometimes sketches are Never So Clean as they are in this case... I'll talk about digital inking sometime in the near future in another tutorial. But this is for those who sketch cleanly or who go back and clean up their pencil sketch by erasing and redrawing the lines.
Feedback appreciated! (was it clear? more/less detail? What other stuff would you like to see?)

That was super helpful. ^^
I was having difficulty finding a tutorial that helped with sketches instead of lineart. ^___^
Um, I wondered if you could help me though, please? Whenever I scan something into photoshop even at a decent dpi (I normally do between 200 to 300) it looks really pixelated unless i zoom right in? =\ Is that normal on PS?? I also have Paint shop pro which is apparently not such a good programme but it doesn't do it on there. :/
Its something that completely baffles me, lol. Damn those pixels. >.>

whats a good way to keep the colour inside the lines? i watched a speed painting video once and he just coloured all over the hair going over the lines and then somehow the colour outside the hair lines disappeared, how do you do that?

Man...I applied this tutorial to a piece I'm working on. It's nice, but I have a lot of base colors. That and each individual color has to be completely erased out of the areas you don't want it in, otherwise you get like a ghost streak.
I like the Fuzzification though. Seriously, that should be a word...
