Description
This is part 1 of a three-part series I'm working on. This first part should explain anything you might wonder over when it comes to stationary emotes. The next two parts will deal with Simple Animation and Advanced Animation. Stay tuned.
If there is anything you feel remains unaswered in this tutorial, please contact me and I'll make sure to add it.

Use the other method instead, the result is much nicer when it's hand-shaded.

LeoLeonardo In reply to emo-panda [2007-03-14 17:45:35 +0000 UTC]
Copied it to Photoshop? Why didn't you make it directly in Photoshop to begin with? And what were yuo using instead? o.O

oh shiz i mean i copied it OUT of photoshop, and into flashplayer, and its blurry

LeoLeonardo In reply to emo-panda [2007-03-16 08:46:58 +0000 UTC]
Then don't. If it's the animation process you're copying it for, just use ImageReady. Press Ctrl+Shift+M in Photoshop when you have the emote document open and you'll automatically launch it in ImageReady.

*gasp*
I never knew it could be so easy! Thanks so much for making me feel a bit more enlightened.
And for your sake, I'll claim to everyone else that emotes are extremely difficult to make and that none should attempt to so except for the most experienced emote makers.
