Description
Because every robot needs to tools to be able to build a deep space colony.That's the top row of arms done. Now just to properly build the bottom row and fit a swivel in at the centre!
Mechonoids, Doctor Who etc belong to the BBC.

It's a shame they didn't have the money or technology to realize the Mechanoids in this manner back in The Chase, because imagining this battling the Daleks is awesome. Speaking of which will you do a little render of the Battle of Mechanus with the Daleks and Mechonoids fighting? That'd be really cool.
Also will you be re-doing the Household and Security models of the Mechonoids as well?

I'll definitely be doing the security model, and probably the household version as well, though that needs a heavy redesign.
And I'll probably render a Daleks vs Mechonoids battle, even if it isn't a direct redo of the one on Mechanus.

I want to - but I know how much work it's going to take, so I'd rather keep modelling things for the moment. At some point, I will just sit down and work out how to animate things in Blender, but it's quite a way down on the list at the moment!

Thanks! It's going to take me a while to finish the lower ring of arms, because one of them is going to be the fine manipulators - several smaller hands extending from the larger one. And I still need to figure out what some of the arms will end in...

That's the idea. I wanted it to be swish and elegant in that 'iPod' style, to greater contrast with the Daleks' 60s brutishness.
