This is the first time I've seen a vid in dA. Thanks for the tut. Sometimes, it's a lot better to explain through a vid than words and a few pics.

Don't worry, you don't talk too much. Better more information than less.

So! You do use quill and brush! Show us! You take finesse to another level in the way how you build up the lines. This is something to practice!
(P.S. - What's more old school than blue pencil?)

I think the key here is confidence. I know that many times I'll do a pencil sketch that I'm proud of then try and take a pen to it and come out feeling like I've messed up my piece. Thanks for the tips! They're really helpful!

Great tutorial man, i`m always kind of afraid to ink my pencil drawings, just cause i think i may mess it up and i would have to start all over and i`m not much of a start over kind of guy.lol
but every now and then i get the cojones to ink it and usually i`m happy with the result. hey, i also feel like a dush, i didn`t know what those bevels were for on the french thingy. thanks for taking the time to throw a few things our way.

Dude, THANK YOU! That's all I can say. You answered three questions I had in the first two minutes. I do the slow thing to and it always frustrated me that I would end up with a bunch of dips in my lines. I started of with quill (and could turn out a pretty decent piece) but I always ended up with a big ink splat somewhere (usually in the middle...lol)on the piece so I quit for the longest time. I just recently discovered ZIG's and have been trying to get back into it. Thank you again.
