*** This is technically a re-posting of this illustration. I plan to do so with all of my Potter art work building up (hopefully) to having some new stuff to share there after. So if you feel like you've seen this before - you probably have. On the upside, I'm sharing it at a larger resolution and without the DeviantArt watermark on it now ***

While I just felt kind of "meh" about the vignette drawings for this chapter, I am incredibly happy with how the painting turned out. Now I know what's going on for me - I normally struggle with drawing/painting structural objects and scenery, but because the Burrow is such a fantastical structure and not really bound by laws of gravity or structure - I was able to bend the rules a lot more than I normally do and this paintings was the result. I think my only real disappointment with it is due to the lighting, it's hard to see Mrs.Weasley storming out of the house and heading for the boys... and I was really happy with the way the drawing turned out of her, so it's too bad you can't see her better. But oh well - I'll take that as the main flaw of the piece if it meant everything else I was striving for, working out.
