Elements Tutorial Version 2.
As I always say with my tutorials, I don't profess to be an absolute expert on PS. This is the technique I use for coloring pencil or pen lineart on PS Elements. I didn't show every step of coloring. This tutorial is just basic and it would be HUGE if I added that in.
About Elements:
Elements is limited. Most full PS tutorials are impossible for me to use as I read through them. I'm sure you other Elements users have found that out as well.
Usually by step two or three, I realize I don't have the options in Elements, so I created my own way.
Enjoy.
Questions and Comments welcome as always.

Glad it helps!
With elements, you definitely have to make up your own ways of doing things. I learned with full PS first, but I only own Elements which meant I couldn't do half the stuff I learned.
Luckily, I think it's a bit easier to navigate Elements than full Photoshop, and simpler so it's less confusing if you are teaching yourself the basics.

I'm satisfied with Elements, mostly because I haven't fully mastered it yet. Once I do master it, though, I'm sure I'll crave the full PS.

Thankyou <333
Seriously, I only see tutorials for CS, and I'm too cheap for that and only have elements D:
THANKYOU :3

OMG. photoshop elements is really hard to use when you don't have all the tools! is it possible for you to create a colouring tutorial as well? you're just so talented!

I might make one for coloring sometime. Coloring is kind of an open-ended subject though, it kind of depends on the effect you want.

thats true... is there no way you can do lineart on elements then? (btw, you art is still fantabulous and I can't stop looking at them...)

I agree 100% on the fact that most tutorials are impossible for us Elements users to use. Like, when the tutorial says to create a layer mask and I'm like 'Wut?' XD That one I did eventually find a run-around on PSE, though. <3 Happy to see such a talented Elements user like yourself who's willing to help everyone!

You too? Elements is okay, though I think it lacks a few things that I really wish it had. I think its one strong point is it's WAY cheaper than full PS and gives you enough options to do general art and manipulation. ^_^

Wow, awesome tutorial! If I had the patience and a steady hand, my work might be just as dangerous as yours.
