I think this is kind of brief... I might want to do a more in-depth one, but this is the basic idea of layering pencil with watercolor.I'd just recommend not over-working the color too much.
I don't know if there is a demand for a tutorial like this which is all about mixing watercolor with colored pencil, but here it is.
