Well, I've gone and done it. I've had so many people ask me how I do my lineart and coloring, I've buckled and made a tutorial. Hopefully ya'll will find something useful in this, and grow and expand to create your own styles. =]Please note that this tutorial deals mainly with the inking part of my lineart.
I'll be finishing this picture, and making it my coloring tutorial, so stay posted!

=] It's all relative. The smaller the picture, the smaller the pens. If you have a 05 and a 01, those really could be the same as an 03 and an 08...just on a smaller scale. I like great thick lines, so I choose thicker pens. When I have ones that are too close to the same size, I can't tell the difference in them. =]

=] they aren't hard to find -- most art stores carry them. I used Zig pens before Microns, and they worked just fine and had the same numbering system. My new art store doesn't carry Zig, and my old one didn't carry Micron.

This is so close to my own inking style that I had to sit here and go "whoa" for a minute! So cool, I have an inking-twin! sort of. or is that just creepy?
