Description Since my tablet is still down a did a few quick old-school sketches (5-10min).

This my most recent take on Hypergodzilla (aka Gojira phase 3, aka Hypergojira). This the ultimate godzilla in my kaijuverse.

I know this is a strange pose, but it just came out this way. I try to sketch this best a lot - but it always turns out like crap. This is the closet I've gotten to my mind's eye in a long time (and I keep changing my mind as well). I want to make a model based on this design and see what comes of it.

Oddly enough, this sketch's general build is starting to remind me of a giant coelurosaur, which is quite the twist for Godzilla. I'd recommend filling out the abdomen just a teeny bit, but that's about it.

I can see that. I pretty sur eit is going to be thickend up some, I don't want it to appear fragile

As I may/may not have noted somewhere in your journal entries, applying the sort of power you mention exclusively to daikaiju (as opposed to, for the umpteenth time, human/humanoid protagonists) actually doesn't bug me unduly. If nothing else, I now have a fascinating mental picture of G-III literally swimming through the cosmic void, propelled by gravitic manipulation (or an, eheh, strategic body-cavity redirection of his beam).

That noted, while this latest prototype's torso may be especially unconventional (which was your point to begin with), I love the rugged skull & neck, elegant talons & gigantic whip-tail.

Thanks, I am most happy with the head/neck and tail, but yes it will be unconventional. I want it to be rough and rugged, but also lithe and nimble.

I tried to "straighten out" this sketch and it didn't work at all. For some reason I just can't get this beast on paper. i think I am going to try to sculpt a model sometime.

That's interesting. A bit on the thin side.

Yes, it is supposed to be rather thin. My point is daikaiju are impossible, so we really have no limitations on how we express them. They simply do not complky to the normal rules of physics. It is lithe in design, but vastly more powerful than my other Gojira incarnations

I know, but still, something that big but slim just looks weird to me.

He looks alright. He looks very frail though for something that is supposed to be the most powerful Godzilla in your universe. Guy needs some serious meat on those bones. Its an interesting perspective though, almost like a mindscape shot.

looks can be decieving. gojira p3 is a "level 3" kaiju in my kaijuverse. They have god-like abilities. For instance: its beam attack is more powerful than a quasar and it has more mass than the milky way galaxy! I tcould literally through the earth like a baseball if it wanted too (though it would have to increase its physical size as it is only 120m tall). Yes this is absolutely insane and no fun to most people, but I like dealing in hyperbole!

I don't know why (maybe it is a dragonballZ,GT influence), but I keep imagining my ultimate godzilla as an extremely agile lithe beast.

Like Zilla without the horizontal posture. Sounds similar to a monster I just got done with eariler named Gareku; except taken to the 9000th power and beyond. Jesus, just how would earth survive all these millenian attacks if they can do shit like that?

Kinda like zilla and kinda not: no chin, no reptilian skin (typical gojira skin), different body and leg proportions, more massive teeth, more standard gojira dorsal plates, upright posture, more theropod like head, etc.

Well I've only identified 3 millenians so far (out of 13 I think): Orga, Mothra & King Ghidorah. Mothra and King Ghidorah usually don't travel to earth but send much less powerful (level 1 kaiju) avatars instead.

Orga attacked earth twice. Once at the end of the cretaceous and once in the future (my kaiju thoughts take place 50-100years in the future). When Orga attacked in the cretaceous it destoryed two plantes in our solar system and then Mothra came and prevented earth from being destroyed as well - forcing Orga into hybernation. Gojira p3 is able to battle Orga the second time and is there to battle King Ghidorah later as well. I haven't really decided but the actual battles may take place in space or throughout the solar system.
