Not just you! It was actually a limitation of the program I built this model in, one fixed by moving to a better program (hence the better proportions on my later NDP redesign).

Have you considered doing roundabouts of these models as well? It certainly seems worth doing. You could put them in either the New Dalek Paradigm folder or the Project Infinity folder. It's up to you, just thought I'd mention it before I forgot.

The main problem is that the original model was built in a program I no longer have installed, and the Blender version never really worked out.
I did do a turn around ages ago ([link] ), but I don't have plans to update it.

Can it be killed by a machine gun?
I made something to destroy Daleks, it's called "The Dalek Disablizer" it shuts down Daleks and blows them up.

I doubt it could be killed with a machine gun - they've never been really effective against Daleks. The most they've been shown to do, in the show, is to be able to destroy the eyestork. But this is a much more advanced version than the one who fell victim to that.

Just had a thought. I wonder if the the NDP red Drones might be a reference to Star Trek. Red shirts, red drones, ya think? Maybe not intentionally, but might've been subconscious.

Joking aside, I'm ever so slightly completely ignoring that bit of Dalek trivia on the grounds that it doesn't make an awful lot of sense.

Daleks cant see red because the origin from the 60's had black-and-white vision, the 05 ones had blue vision, and it wasn't until 2010 they finally got to see the whole spectrum.

I like the color scheme on your NDP interpretation--the color here reminds me of the Feldgrau on the WWII Third Reich uniforms, playing up the cosmic fascism of the Daleks. I wonder if later seasons might see the Dalek colors get "muted" a bit.

It would seem that you have this dalek and the dalek strategist colour wrong. Dalek drones are red, not grey. Dalek stategists are orange not red.

I'm rather bored with having this conversation. I really should have put up that disclaimer.
Yes, I've changed the colour schemes to something I prefer. Just as I redesigned the Daleks themselves because I didn't like every part of the design they went with. That's my perogative as a fan artist. Red doesn't scream 'drone' to me, grey does. So I swapped them about.
And on the show, the strategists are blue. The orange ones are scientists.

The plainer, 'standardised' look you've chosen for the drones really shows off the detailing and overall proportions of your model... no bright colours to distract etc etc. They look functional and mean.
I'd like to see a few more pics of groups of your drones (like the one on the hoverbout), nothing says 'marauding army of evil alien robots' like Daleks en masse.
*And yes, I know they're not robots. Just sayin'
