Is there any way to make things under working floor disappear?

Unless I misunderstood your post, by default everything under the MirrorWF effect is hidden.

Huh? I'm not sure what you're trying to ask here, but just deleting or hiding the Working Floor x-file model should fix the problem shouldn't it? Or am I not understanding what you're saying (which is entirely possible).

It works but the floor turns white.

Mine shows up as just plain black when I load it I know my graphics card is up to par, I`ve used waaaay more complicated effects before

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Trackdancer In reply to Supurreme [2014-05-13 21:36:23 +0000 UTC]

Might be a conflict between it and something else running in the background. Really hard to tell with these things.

BTW, I just found out that Isao's Rin doesn't work with MMD 9.10 - her legs no longer move with the bones for some really strange reason. Going to have to figure out why when I get some time.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

kohmakanmaid In reply to Trackdancer [2014-06-20 19:30:49 +0000 UTC]

you might want to redownload the model where you found it, because ISAO's reimu had the same problem and thats how i fixed it

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Trackdancer In reply to kohmakanmaid [2014-06-20 20:38:44 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, that's how I fixed it - really odd though. The model is still weighted and all - looks fine in the PMD editor too, but even in there the weighting was disassociated and the legs wouldn't move with the bones.

oh geeze this`ll be a huge trial and error thing, wont it? Dx

Really? That`s strange I haven`t updated yet, so i cant figure it out for myself, but i hope you come up with a solution

I better find a fix too as I've ditched all my previous versions to make room on my HD ..Β ><

Um... I need help. I have WorkingFloor2_v002 and can't get it to work... The only x file is WorkingFloor2.x
There's no MirrorWF.x
I tried to use it but it didn't show up at all... Like, not at all... Yours shows up white at first, but mine doesn't show up at all! I load it in the accessory box and nothing new happened.
I'm so confused... Β  Β

Trackdancer In reply to MMD-Pokemon-Manga [2014-04-18 22:50:49 +0000 UTC]

Working Floor is different from MirrorWF. They essentially do the same thing. Working floor should work automatically once it is loaded. ie. if you have a character loaded you should see it reflected on the floor. If you see nothing, your PC does not support the effect.

Trackdancer In reply to YokoChan67 [2014-03-02 01:09:32 +0000 UTC]

It might be incompatible with your PC - GM34 had this problem on his old PC, when he switched over to a new system it worked fine.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

GM34 In reply to Trackdancer [2014-03-26 21:50:25 +0000 UTC]

Ah, there are 2 different working floor effects... You are correct TD as it did not work one one PC.

Working floor will mirror PMD/PMX and .x files

Working floor 002 seems to just mirror models PMD/PMX

I needed to use Working floor in the video when Jeni was in the 50's diner. It was the only way to pick up the reflections of the stage.

Working floor 002 works well, but I did see a difference in them.

so whenever i load the mirror the models show up completely white in it
any idea how to fix???

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Trackdancer In reply to Madison15711 [2013-11-05 03:59:22 +0000 UTC]

Try a later version of the effect. I believe the most current version is v007. If that doesn't work, well basically your graphics card doesn't like the effect or vice versa.

Nagara01 In reply to Trackdancer [2013-09-08 02:54:04 +0000 UTC]

i see people on youtube testing it out or something like that but only things i already know or could live without

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Trackdancer In reply to Nagara01 [2013-09-08 03:11:51 +0000 UTC]

Personally, I think MMD is better. I have both but rarely touch MMM. MMM does have some nice features that MMD doesn't have, but then again, I'm so used to MMD now that I can usually workaround those features that it doesn't have.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Nagara01 In reply to Trackdancer [2013-09-08 03:19:29 +0000 UTC]

i honestly wish i could use mmd again but for some odd reason it crashes when i load models to it but mmm doesn't and i haven't seen anything wrong with my models in pmd so i don't understand it, it also possibly doesn't like pmx models but it could be the same problem i have with pmd modelsΒ

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Trackdancer In reply to Nagara01 [2013-09-08 04:24:07 +0000 UTC]

Try this:

[1] Load MMD
[2] Load an existing PMM file, such as sample.pmm that comes with the program
[3] Clear MMD (ie. start a new file)
[4] Now try and load an MMD model and see if it still crashes.

If this works, then this is your fix.

With that kind of attitude I'm not surprised you can't master Google; something that even most 10 year olds can do nowadays ...

But try entering any of these into Google (or any other search engine):

MME mirror floor effect

...or ...

MME mirror floor effect downloads

... or even ...

Where can I find mirror floor effects for MMD?

Friendly advice, especially for someone in your generation. The Internet is going to be a big factor in your adult life, especially if you're planning to go to college and pursue a professional career. Spend a few moments really learning how to use a search engine. It will be a lifetime investment that can be completed in about 10 minutes.
