Description I keep getting asked how to do this so here's a simple explaination from UsaUsa. Well if a bunny girl can do it, so can you ... ... as for the teaching style, well you decide

Credits are in the panel.

The answer depends on what exactly is being animated and what you want the object to do.

Based on what I think you're trying to do, I would be inclined to develop a simple bone system for the color blocks and use that to control them.

Thanks, really kind of you. I love the Usausa model, just don't always have an opportunity to use her but she did also develop a motion specially for her: [link]

thank you
but how do you get the numeric input up? im not rotating an accessorie, im trying to make a model do a spin

Trackdancer In reply to amethyst3551 [2013-03-28 17:51:44 +0000 UTC]

The numeric input box is under the "Bone" menu.

Spinning a model? As in a humanoid model?

Humanoid models SHOULD NOT be spun in this manner. The method to revolve objects as described in these tutorials only apply to inanimate objects. To get a humanoid model to spin like, for example, a ballerina, you will need a completely different process.

Show me a picture of what you're trying to spin and maybe that way I can better answer your question. Also detail exactly you want the "model" to do.

this one is help full and i know how to do it o3o but how about wheels? like on a bike or a car?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Trackdancer In reply to ReishaTerrin [2013-03-26 01:40:14 +0000 UTC]

Same principle applies to car wheels - there's a more in-depth discussion on this in another tutorial I wrote awhile back on vehicle animation: [link]

I know how to do this already, but this'll help some newbies at animation out! Adding to my list of tutorials! (I swear you pretty much dominate stuff in there, as well as my crack folder)

Trackdancer In reply to QVxVCTxZero [2013-03-25 20:21:05 +0000 UTC]

This tutorial was really done for newbies and also I wanted to try out a comic strip approach to doing tutorials. Computer animation is pretty complex and I was really trying not to write a wall-of-text, but you can't really get away from it completely so perhaps presenting it in this manner "makes the medicine go down" a little easier?

Trackdancer In reply to SilverStarlite [2013-03-25 16:39:05 +0000 UTC]

The version of the stage I have comes packaged with an .x file and a .pmd file of both the clock itself and the railings.
