Description How to simulate wind in MMD and a brief introduction to the MMD Physics Engine's functions and controls.

This is also the 'For Dummies' discussion of the MMD Physics Engine; for those of you who aren't nerds or, who like me, have long forgotten their high-school physics lessons; like I didn't sleep through those anyway ...

I need the wind effect! I haven't found it anywhere! Mind to tell me where you got it from or the link?

Tanja-sama In reply to AbbyTropis [2020-01-08 13:00:27 +0000 UTC]

you won't need it, if you turn the gravity off the hair moves itself, did you already try?
Hope this helped

very good tutorial but how can we change it without modify the physics of the frame?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Trackdancer In reply to titidoudu974 [2013-01-26 18:02:54 +0000 UTC]

Sorry, I don't quite understand what you mean by "physics of the frame".

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

titidoudu974 In reply to Trackdancer [2013-01-26 18:10:07 +0000 UTC]

when i finish a frame and i add physics how can i do an other frame without the asme physics? (sorry i don't know how to explain it i'm french)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Trackdancer In reply to titidoudu974 [2013-01-26 19:53:00 +0000 UTC]

The physic settings applies to the entire animation sequence. If you need to change the physics, you will need to make your animation in separate sequences and splice them together using an external video editor such as Windows Movie Maker.

If you're simply making still images, just change the physics as required.

Hope this helps.

do you know how to make it so the gravity effects only certain frames?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Trackdancer In reply to amethyst3551 [2013-01-18 01:55:31 +0000 UTC]

You'll need to do your video in separate parts and put them back together afterwards with an external application such as Windows Movie Maker.
